Invitation Guidelines

Thank you so much for your generous invitation to have Justin minister in your community. It is our joy to be able to serve the Body of Christ in different contexts. We know that it is costly to host gift ministries, and we are honored that you would consider inviting us. We trust that the investment will bear much fruit for your community.

We've put this letter together so that you know what to expect and to suggest some guidelines for hosting us. The heart behind these guidelines is to ensure that we are able to bless to the best of our ability and allow for healthy ministry practices to be maintained long-term as we seek to serve as many different contexts as possible.

Travel & Accommodation

Flights: As Justin is often on the road, it helps him to be part of a frequent flyer program with Lufthansa. We will make the arrangements at this end and you will send us the funds to cover it since flights have to be booked in advance.

*This principle works the same when Justin travels by train.

Accommodation: For any events requiring overnight stays, Justin requests at least a single bedroom preferably in a hotel or bed and breakfast.

Travel and Meals: We ask that any necessary ground transportation and meals be arranged and provided for by our hosts. Please note, Justin tries to stick to a low-carb diet.

Offerings & Honorariums

When I am invited to serve a local church, my heart is always to be a blessing and never a burden. I have found that the healthiest and most honoring approach is a combination of a love offering and an honorarium. An honorarium allows the local church to take responsibility for services rendered, while a love offering gives the congregation the opportunity to respond freely to the Holy Spirit according to what the Lord places on their hearts. This model creates space for generosity without undue pressure on the church's budget and allows the Lord to meet both present and future needs as He sees fit. As this ministry is my calling and the means by which I provide for my family, I deeply value clear communication, mutual honor, and partnership with church leadership in this area.

Schedule

Please send us the schedule you have in mind beforehand so we can all agree on it. Once we have approved a final schedule, please do not book any other meetings even if they are casual. If the need arises please talk to Justin first. We will not do “added” meetings that are not part of the approved schedule.

Ministry Time

Please leave the logistics of the ministry time to Justin (do not make announcements as to how it will proceed) as he will hear the Lord during the meetings to know what He wants him to do and how He would like him to proceed with ministry.

In order to minister prophetically to the people they need to bring their own recording devices such as cell phones, MP3 players, iPods, laptops, etc. Justin will not prophesy over anyone if it cannot be recorded.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that so much thought and planning go into hosting outside speakers and we would only cancel in rare circumstances where there is an emergency. In that event, Justin kindly reserves the right to cancel a speaking engagement with as much notice as possible.
